Welcome to:

The SPIRITUAL FRONTIER

  • Are you curious about your next life?

  • Would you like to know what to expect or how we will live?

  • Do you wish to learn about Heaven  ...or hell?

  • Who are the angels and how do spirits interact with us?

  • Do all things in life have a purpose?

  • What is our purpose in life?

If you ask the right questions and look in the right places - all your spiritual questions can be answered.  Many of them can be answered within your own religious teachings.  Some answers come from things we learn in school or from our dealings with others; and many times from unexpected places.  The Writings of Emanuel Swedenborg provide a valuable source of information.   In fact, the knowledge presented within these books unfold the final chapter of a Divine Story that has been taking place upon our earth for thousands of years and involving ALL people and religions.  So no matter who you are or what your beliefs may be, you are invited to...

  • "...be a Columbus to whole new continents and worlds within you, opening new channels, not of trade, but of thought."
    - H.D. Thoreau, from Walden, 1840

Below are some samples of literature which you might find beneficial.  Let your thoughts explore life's most important frontier... the Spiritual Frontier!

Universal Religion - Charity ruling over Faith

  • The purpose of ALL RELIGION is for us to appreciate God and be good people toward each other.

  • Those who do this - from any religion - will enter heaven.

  • If a person is truly good - for the sake of their religion - they will automatically know God when they enter the next life, having already done God's will.

  • The notion that we each enter heaven according to our faith is partially true, but to a lesser degree than entering according to our our love for others (our true charity).

  • A person's true faith is the result of their true charity - no matter what people say they believe, their actions declare the true quality of their faith.

    • A good person acting for the sake of God has true faith in God.

    • A person who does good for selfish reasons or an outright bad person reflects a false faith in God - even if they openly confess the faith of their religion with their lips.

  • Heaven is setup according to our affections of charity - one society reflecting one type of charity and so on.

    • Faith is only the description of the charity - with charity ruling over the faith (doing good ruling over thinking good).

    • Therefore, for instance,

      • A Christian isn't Christian by proclaiming faith, but by doing Christian charity.

      • And a Moslem isn't Moslem by their faith, but by doing Moslem charity.

      • In fact, any religion isn't that religion by faith, but only by acting out its precepts of charity.

  • When we compare the precepts of charity within each religion, we soon discover that we all agree.

    • We agree with what it takes to be a good person, but we disagree with our vision of God.

      • When we accept that our understandings of God will always be different, our disagreements of faith will seem meaningless and our agreement in charity will be everything.

The following link presents a short collection of writings regarding the above concepts - presented in 18th Century European words.   The teachings of your own religion contain these same concepts in their own words.  Regardless of how it is said and or who says it, being a good person (in our actions) from the Love of God is the true purpose of life and the happiness of Heaven.
